Actions of the Month - September 2019

WHEN YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE:  Please leave your full name, street address and phone number so your call will be counted!

Call the Senate Intelligence Committee (202) 224-1700  or (Ranking Member’s office)  202-224-2023

 Suggested Script: Hello.  My name [is __].  My address [including ZIP is __].  My phone number [is ___].  I’m calling to get a message to “both” Senators Richard Burr and Mark Warner in their capacity as Chairperson and Ranking Member of the Senate Intelligence Committee.  I’m very concerned about the calls our president made to the Ukraine urging that foreign government to investigate a private US citizen- and I want “both” Senators Burr and Warner to use the power of the Intelligence Committee to do four things immediately:

(1) investigate the mishandling of the “whistleblower complaint” that the intelligence community inspector general deems “ serious and urgent”;

(2) investigate the improper calls and inappropriate “promise” the president made to the Ukraine;

(3) immediately obtain transcripts of the calls and release them to the public for our review and consideration; and

(4) release the full contents of the whistleblower complaint to the public.

As the Trump appointed Inspector General made clear, this is a matter of “serious and urgent concern” to our nation.  Thank you.
